Siragugal'10 - HCL CSC is going to fly high in supporting Chennai Intercultural Orphanage school mega event

Siragugal is annual inter-orphanage cultural and science fest that provides a platform for children to exhibit their talents, get competitive exposure, and enrich themselves with much needed perspective on their inherent potential. Last year, the event was held on 15th November at Chinmaya Vidyalaya and 796 children from 26 orphanages (across Chennai, Thiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts) participated in 16 events under three age based categories. A science exhibition and a theatre workshop were also part of this one-day fest. The event was felicitated by eminent personalities.

This event is being organized by a non-profit organization of Chennai, called Bhumi.

This year, Siragugal’10 happened on 11th July, Sunday at Bhavan's Rajaji Vidhyasharam, Kilpauk for over 1,200 children from 35 orphanages participated under three categories: Juniors - 1st to 5th, Seniors - 6th to 8th, Super Seniors - 9th to 12th.

Bhumi, is a Chennai based non-profit volunteer organization of young people working among orphaned and unprivileged children in Chennai. Their aim is to provide children with quality education, empower and enable them to become productive citizens of the future.

We sold the tickets and contributed Rs 60950 (ETA-Rs 7400)to Bhumi.
