Our sister needs helping hand for her Kidney Transplantation

Our sister needs helping hand for her Kidney Transplantation...Give her a life as Raksha Bandhan gift!

Dear HCLites,
We have received a request from Udaya Kumar Kasthuri Mani of ETA Navalur.
His sister Nirmala M studying BCA in Jaya Arts & Science College is admitted to Sri Ramachandra Hospital, Porur two weeks back. This was due to anemia. But, the final diagnosis was devastating as both her kidneys needs to be transplanted (B –ve).
They have registered to:
Kadavar Kidney in Government General Hospital, Chennai(68th place and 2 lakhs for transplantation). They can claim 1 lakh using Kalaizhnar Kappeettu thitam.
Sri Ramachandra Hospital, Chennai(9th place and 5.5 lakhs for transplantation). They can claim 1.8 lakhs using Kalaizhnar Kappeettu thitam.
He has utilized 40,000/- from the Medical Claim (Hospitalization) and can claim only up to 1.6 lakhs. However, he can either claim from Kalaizhnar Kappeettu Thitam or Medi-Claim but not both (he has to submit originals receipts).
Apart from these expenses:She needs to undergo hemo-dialysis twice in a week. (.1,500 per dialysis - 12,000 / month! )She is supposed to undergo hemo-dialysis until kidney is transplanted on regular basis.
Her father being a farmer and mother a home-maker, Udaya is the only bread-earner in their family.Even Medi-Assist WILL NOT reimburse the dialysis expenses as he has already claimed the domiciliary expense for this year.
We wish to support his family to the maximum extent possible and seek your help! It will be of a great support for our colleague if you can lend your helping hands to him.
Either you can add him as a beneficiary and transfer whatever you wish to contribute:Bank: HDFC Bank, Branch: DLF – Ramapuram, ChennaiName: Udaya Kumar Kasthuri ManiA/c No: 18691610000312
or Contact Udaya directly on - +91 9003332039 & udayakumar.k@hcl.com for more details…
Regards,
ETA-CSC

Orphan Statistics
Every 15 SECONDS, another child becomes an AIDS orphan
Every DAY 5,760 and every YEAR 2,102,400 more children become orphans
143,000,0002 Orphans in the world today spend an average of 10 years in an orphanage or foster home
Approximately 250,000 children are adopted annually. But…every YEAR 14,050,000 children still grow up as orphans and AGE OUT of the system
Every DAY 38,493 children AGE OUT and every 2.2 SECONDS, another orphan child AGES OUT with no family to belong to and no place to call home
15% of children who age out of an orphanage commit suicide before age 18.
60% of the girls are lured into prostitution. 70% of the boys become hardened criminals.
Many of these children accept job offers that ultimately result in their being sold as slaves. Millions of girls are sex slaves today, simply because they were unfortunate enough to grow up as orphans.
Reliable statistics are difficult to find, even the sources often list only estimates, and street children are rarely included. But even if these figures are exaggerated by double, it is still an unacceptable tragedy that over a Million children would still become orphans every year, and every year 7 Million children would still grow to adulthood as orphans with no one to belong to and no place to call home.
Note* To AGE OUT means to grow to the age where a child is forced to leave the orphanage or foster home with no place to call home
